We've reached our max capacity at Feral Care Sanctuary and are unable to accept new residents at this time. Please reach out to your local animal control center to find a best new home for the feline in need.
Feral cats have few options once they are forced to leave the homes and colonies that they know (alleyways, parking lots, businesses, new home subdivisions, etc.).

Our Sanctuary is a beautiful and safe haven but it is not ideal for all feral cats, who may have a safe place on the street where their basic needs are already being met. Relocating a cat should ONLY be done as a last resort.
Ferals are often unsocialized and fearful of humans. We must see the world from the perspective of the feral cat. If they have a place to get out of the weather, get away from danger, a decent food source, and access to sunlight, then their street home may be an excellent place for them.
The cats that come to live with us come as a last resort. They will need to adjust to a completely different environment, as cats are not instinctually pack animals, and will need to learn to share their space with many others.
Our caring staff and volunteers work hard to make sure the cats feel loved and at home.
Established in 2000, our dream to save cats began with a vision and a single donated pet kennel. With the generosity of our donors and volunteers over the past 20 years, we have grown the sanctuary into the important feline safe haven it is today.

Feral Care is a peaceful sanctuary in Snohomish County, WA where over 100 ferals and cats in need, call home.
Our organization fulfills a critical need for these animals, seen as neither domestic animals nor wildlife. We rescue, rehabilitate, and provide a forever-home for feral, abandoned, and otherwise unadoptable cats

Puget Sound area.
Our work includes TNR- humane population control, fostering, socializing, adopting cats and kittens from feral colonies, and caring for the cats in our Sanctuary.
We also field hundreds of calls and emails about feral and stray cats every year, and we network to find solutions for each of these individual situations.
The Feral Care Sanctuary is on five acres of a peaceful, tree-lined property in Bothell, WA. We are a private foundation 501(c)3 non-profit relying on generous donor support, volunteers, and caring staff to provide shelter, food, veterinary care, and socialization to our feline friends.
It is home to over 100 feral and domestic cats left behind or otherwise unadoptable. The housing structure is a large, secure, and free-roaming haven for the cats. There are plenty of places to climb and explore, bask in the sunshine in the outside space, play on a cat tree, hide up in the rafters, or escape inside one of our four large heated cat houses for a warm nap. A secure fence protects the Sanctuary and offers amazing views of the outdoors and entertaining wildlife, including birds, rabbits, horses, and the occasional coyote! The cathedral roof covers the entire Sanctuary, which keeps all our feline friends dry year-round.
At the Feral Care Sanctuary, we feed the highest quality diet of canned raw and fresh foods, lots of treats, raw goat milk (from Snohomish County), and clean water from our underground spring. We monitor the cat’s wellbeing and administer vet care as need.

In the days we were without electricity at our sanctuary and we faced the challenge of keeping 100+ cats warm through the chilly, wet winters of Seattle, we devised these heat-reflective mats to keep our kitties warm. We had whole sheets of mylar (emergency blankets!) sandwiched between two large sheets of fleece, then sewn shut. Thus, the heat-reflective catnip mat was born. These proved so successful and popular that we made them into a smaller shape for our community and their kitties at home.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
